Roberto A...I was always struck by the phrase of Fr. Roberto Amuroso: there is only one vocation and that is virginity. <br /><br />Priestly ministry is, I think, eschatological. Within his hands, the pieces of bread become the particular and irreducible face of God that shows that Christ is greater than our friendship. It is God's expectation of us. If this is true, that the priest's vocation is to proclaim the presence of Christ, the coming of Christ, then this has to be linked with virginity. <br /><br />Anyway, everyone read the Pope's homily yesterday to conclude the year of the priests.
