This has been a topic on this blog from nearly the very beginning.<br /><br />I have failed to ever hear a reasonable argument on how one can be a Catholic and a Neocon. Sure there are plenty of them, but Catholics also divorce at the same rate of non-Catholic Americans, use contraception, etc... Not to mention, I don't know how one can call themselves a true conservative and endorse the warfare state.Fr. D.L. Radio host Thom Hartmann says in this clip Leo Strauss taught at the University of Illinois. Of course, Strauss taught at the University of Chicago.
