This blog explores both historical and current events guided by the thought of the leading thinkers, past and present, of this school or movement of theology. Refer to the Classic Posts, Great and Contemporary Thinkers, various links of all kinds, in addition to the Archives themselves. David is the founder and manager of this website, but many friends contribute to it on a regular basis.
This article should be read very carefully. Magister presents a mass of inferences that upon a casual reading seem to be direct statements on liturgy from Pope Benedict XVI. For example, Magister quotes the Stations of the Cross prepared for this past Lent and uses them to make a point about the Liturgy.
Previously, Ratzinger's biggest point was that reform of the Liturgy should not be radical and dramatic, but gradual. I would expect him to be more gradual than some traditionalists would prefer.
