While home groups sponsored by churches are nothing new, there are an increasing number of independent groups not affiliated with any particular church that meet regularly. Many of these groups are looking for alternative ways to explore their faith in smaller, more intimate settings. Lucky Severson visits with members of home church groups for a look at how they are seeking -- and finding -- new spiritual connections. According to Cecilia Schulte, a life-long Catholic who started her own home group, 'I wasn't finding ... all of what I needed by attending mass or just following ritual. We're spiritual beings, and that means exploring and changing and growing. And I felt inhibited in a traditional church setting.'
This blog explores both historical and current events guided by the thought of the leading thinkers, past and present, of this school or movement of theology. Refer to the Classic Posts, Great and Contemporary Thinkers, various links of all kinds, in addition to the Archives themselves. David is the founder and manager of this website, but many friends contribute to it on a regular basis.
