Duffy has good info, but he goes with Rahner in the end, and I think de Lubac and von B have it right.
I find the books of Duffy to be difficult to read, much like Nichols. It's easier to read the primary sources than them! You are correct to state he supports Ranher's position.
Duffy and Nichols consist of a small group of scholars that actually deal with the people and topics that you and I love therefore you have no choice but to read them. To be fair, this topic of nature and grace is not an easy one though.
