TCR Musings - Famed Indian Writer Arundhati Roy On War, Empire, Resistance and the Presidency
1. Arundhati Roy, the author of "The God of Small Things" and Ashwin Desai, a community activist from Durban South Africa and author of "We Are the Poors: Community Struggles in Post-Apartheid South Africa" spoke on War, Resistance, Empire, and the Presidency during the last election campaign. Speaks to how it's difficult to distinguish Democrats and Republicans. Corporations largely rule. "Even if you vote for John Kerry you still get Bush". The policies are almost the same.
2. And in this streaming video Roy also visits and reflects on the Republican National Convention, 2004 to get their view on the convention.
