Peter Leithart has a great blog, jam-packed with thoughtful comment. He generously offers a number of provoking posts on the historical books, which I find very helpful. His sensitivity to the themes of the Old and New Testaments is reminiscent of Origen or the Capadocian fathers.
In a recent post he quotes a brief snippet from Gregory of Nyssa, that cuts right to the core of Christian engagement in the world.

Indeed, I've been reading his posts dilligently for the past few weeks, and he has some great stuff! I love that he posts little metaphorical stories from time to time as well.
