This blog explores both historical and current events guided by the thought of the leading thinkers, past and present, of this school or movement of theology. Refer to the Classic Posts, Great and Contemporary Thinkers, various links of all kinds, in addition to the Archives themselves. David is the founder and manager of this website, but many friends contribute to it on a regular basis.
What comes through most clearly in this piece is the same Joseph Ratzinger whose Introduction To Chistianity was so instumental in my conversion to Catholicism some two decades ago. His consumate skill in giving easy expression to complex ideas, yet always his self criticism in evaluating his writing as dry or too technical. Pope Benedict XVI is a gift of God to Christianity. Never have I felt more certain that he is the right man for the time.
