The Theology of Henri de Lubac

Pastor John Wright - Sunday night musings

Read the above post. My remarks are directly below. For some strange reason, it's not allowing me to post my remarks.

In addition to the works of de Lubac that he already cites (it's a good list), I would definitely tackle Splendor of the Church & Card. Scola's interview of de Lubac. I would skip Milbank all together and stick to the primary sources with the exception of Balthasar who knew him very, very well.

To supplement the whole nature/grace topic, don't forget the second book, Augustinianism and and Modern Theology, and also A Brief Catechesis On Nature And Grace. These books, at least the first, would not be practical to buy for the students but for your own study.

He also has several books on biblical exegesis and tradition. The two vol. series is very expensive and a topic in itself. Lastly don't forget about Christian Faith.
