Who Are the True Progressives?
The American Presidential campaign is in fourth gear. The “labels” abound; “liberal”, “conservative”, “neo-conservative” and…the one being bandied about more often lately, both in a disparaging way and as a sort of badge of pride, “progressive”. The term, at its root, implies progress toward something better. It is Christianity which paves the way to true progress and faithful Christians should challenge the misuse of the word "progressive", reclaiming it as our own...
