Back in the hunt?

Concord Monitor - Better news in Iraq, weak field made McCain's obits premature
Integrity, consistency, stubbornness, good humor, experience, courage and service: These are what people see in McCain - and that's in person, not just in the TV ads. After awhile, voters shopping the field have to stop and wonder if these aren't the qualities they're looking for in a presidential nominee...

He's a staunch conservative, as his voting record indicates, but not one tied to the ideology that has so damaged and divided the country under President Bush. McCain is not in politics to foster a religious social agenda. His foreign policy is steeped in reality, not driven by some think-tank theory about remaking the world.

Maybe the second time would be the charm for John McCain.
