thoughts about Our Lady during this Advent season
This Advent season is a very politically charged season considering the upcoming Iowa caucus, NH primary, and from there an avalanche of various state primaries. Our Lady is the model of our faith. She teaches us what it means to be Catholic, to be human. I can't help but to wonder who Our Lady would support if she was in our shoes? Which policies would she support? Would she stand for peace or support a perpetual state of war, a global war against Islamo-fascism? Would she ignore the plight of the poor and uninsured in this country? Would she preach hate against the immigrants? These are things that I wonder about. These are things I pray about.
