Like a scene out of the film “Awakenings”, Fred Thompson, a candidate who has been all but asleep since he entered the primary race, came out of his slumber and attacked Mike Huckabee in the last debate. With the South Carolina primary looming large and his standing in the National polls all but imperceptible, the conservative candidate decided it was time to make his move.
