Too, if you can answer the critical analysis of Dominus Iesus below, you will have reason to be optimistic about Joseph Ratzinger-Benedict XVI. Knowing that one cannot cannot simply "transcend" doctrinal contradictions, I tried to answer, but could not. Perhaps you will have better luck.
That Benedict refuses to expel heresies from our midst is an ominous sign I fear.
