We recently received this letter:
Dear Touchstone editors,
I know this may be considered a rude question, but how many denominations has S. M. Hutchens belonged to at various points in his life? It seems that whenever he posts on an issue involving a Protestant church, he claims to be an ex-member. If I recall correctly, he was raised a Baptist, was ordained a Lutheran minister, was also a Presbyterian (possibly a Presbyterian minister) at some point, and his latest post, he claims to also be an ex-Episcopalian who now attends an "evangelical" (no denomination specified) church. Are there any more to which he has belonged, and in what order did these memberships occur?
