Schönborn to Receive Cross of the Order of St. Benedict
Cardinal Christoph Schönborn, Cardinal Archbishop of Vienna and one of the youngest members of the Catholic Church's College of Cardinals, will visit the campus of Benedictine College in Atchison, Kan., on Sunday, January 31. He will serve as principal celebrant for the Noon Mass in St. Benedict’s Abbey Church, on the Benedictine campus, and will follow up with a lecture, Pope Benedict, Regensburg and the Recovery of Christian Roots, at 2:30 p.m. in the College’s O’Malley-McAllister Auditorium. The college will also present him with the prestigious Cross of the Order of St. Benedict award.
