There's an 'app' for that

CNS - iPhone applications devised for Catholics

Great! Now I can sit on my couch and do a virtual Stations of the Cross in lieu of doing a real one in the rain, mud and general messiness of human life. I might have to pause the PS3 for moment but that's an acceptable sacrifice.

Technology is the "ontology of the age" (3 part series)

Probably not what the creator intended. On the other hand, if you're trapped, literally, in a packed subway train for an hour+ commute (typical for many a New Yorker), I could see myself making use of just such an app.

Move to Kansas and you will not have that problem.

Probably not. I wouldn't disagree that city-life brings with it various challenges to living the religious life -- at the same time I'm disinclined to think that everybody should resign in frustration and move to Kansas. (No offense). ;-)

Just ask Santi. I know for him it's a no brainer regarding the East Coast or Kansas. You really can't compare Boston to NYC though. Think about it. You can choose between the madness of Manhattan, the Big Apple, or the Manhattan right in the midst of prairies of Kansas, the Little Apple. The Manhattan airport here has a buffalo ranch right next to it. I bet you can't say the same thing about La Guardia or JFK.

Obviously not, because the city and the country are two different things. But that's not an argument for Catholics to flee the city and leave it to the pagans.

What I'm looking for is buffalo wings and ranch dressing... And have the paganus and the citivas reversed?

I could go for some buffalo wings and ranch dressing right now. I think that's one thing we can all agree on!
