This blog explores both historical and current events guided by the thought of the leading thinkers, past and present, of this school or movement of theology. Refer to the Classic Posts, Great and Contemporary Thinkers, various links of all kinds, in addition to the Archives themselves. David is the founder and manager of this website, but many friends contribute to it on a regular basis.
You seem to forget that Jesus was brutally murdered because he dared to challenge the powers-that-be in his time and place. Including the ecclesiastical establishment of his time and place.
Do you really think that if Jesus somehow happened to reappear in 2012, that he would be welcome, or even recognized at the Vatican, or by Rick Santorun or the hanging governor Rick Perry - which is to ask/question how many living-breathing-feeling human beings would Jesus execute if he were alive today? The amswer is of couse precisely ZERO.
