This blog explores both historical and current events guided by the thought of the leading thinkers, past and present, of this school or movement of theology. Refer to the Classic Posts, Great and Contemporary Thinkers, various links of all kinds, in addition to the Archives themselves. David is the founder and manager of this website, but many friends contribute to it on a regular basis.

Did you notice?
In the last two months in FTs (specifically in The Public Square), Fr. Neuhaus jabs at Stanley Hauerwas (December pgs. 67-68, January pg. 70) and Eugene McCarraher (Dec. pgs. 75-76). He quotes them significantly, but then judges their positions. One can say it's a friendly, but critical judgment. This on-going dialog among various orthodox (Catholic/catholic) scholars is one that I immensely enjoy and something in which I'm deeply educated by. One cannot honestly read these scholars and not be effected by their various insights. Let us journey on this road together encountering the event of Christ.
